Functionality only for Self-Managed Installation
Elastic Social is only available for a self-managed installation of CoreMedia Content Cloud. It is not availabe for the hosted CoreMedia Content Cloud Service solution.
Limited Compatibility with Image Transformation Service
CoreMedia Elastic Social does not work with the Image Transformation Service with respect to binary data representing images. As those images for CoreMedia Elastic Social are stored in the MongoDB database, the Image Transformation Service cannot access them. When using CoreMedia Elastic Social, the Image Transformation Service should not be enabled or image rendering errors will occur.
