Downgrade to CKEditor 4
Up to CoreMedia Content Cloud 2207 rich text editing was powered by CKEditor 4. As CKSource announced end-of-life for CKEditor 4 in 2023, support for CKEditor 4 in CoreMedia Content Cloud is deprecated since release 2210 and customers will start with CKEditor 5.
Since an upgrade to CKEditor 5 may require considerable effort, you will also have the possibility to switch back to CKEditor 4 and schedule upgrade to CKEditor 5 for later. Therefore, CKEditor 4 will be supported throughout CoreMedia Content Cloud v11.
