The CMS applications (except of the Headless server) have been migrated from using Jackson 2 to Jackson 3. Some minor parts of the applications still require Jackson 2.
The migrated CoreMedia CMS applications use Jackson 3 dependencies wherever possible. However, Jackson 2 dependencies cannot be banned entirely so far, because there’re still required transitively by other thirdparty dependencies.
As the required changes for the Headless server are breaking, they will be published with the next LTS AEPs 2512.1.0 (CMCC-12) and 2406.4.0 (CMCC-11).
