CoreMedia Content Cloud lets you manage sites in different locales with the same or a different language (see Section 2.10, “Multi-Site and Multi-Language”for details).

Both, Translation and Synchronization are based on the same underlying multi-site features. Every derived content item has a respective master content item in the master site that it is derived from and by default, changes in the master are tracked to for example inform the editor offering to trigger a Translation or Synchronization workflow.

However, you can also decide to not track the changes of the master content item, for example if you want to manage the content item of the derived site independently of the master site.
