Publishing Variants

Learn how to publish variants alongside or independently of the baseline content item.
Since variants link to the baseline content and not the other way around, they are not automatically included when you publish the baseline content item. You need to add each variant to the publication workflow explicitly.
Important: If you do not add a variant to the publication workflow, it remains unpublished even if the baseline is published. The same applies to translation workflows — variants must be added explicitly.
