Recommended for New Installations: SQL Persistence for Editorial Services (Replacing MongoDB)

With CMCC v12.2412.0.0 we introduce support for an SQL based persistence in favor of the MongoDB based persistence for these features:

  • My Edited Contents

  • Workflow Lists (Running, Completed Workflows; technically referred as “Pending” and “Archived”).

  • Notifications

  • Projects/To-Dos

Find details how to enable the SQL persistence layer in the CoreMedia Blueprint Developer Manual in section “Blueprint Workspace for Developers/Configuring the Workspace”.

Recommended For New Installations: We recommend switching to the SQL based persistence for all new installations. This will spare upgrade steps for later releases.

Migration Support Pending: For existing installations, please stick to the MongoDB based persistence layer. Migration of existing data is not yet available but will be provided in subsequent releases.
