Description of campaigns.

A campaign is a planned sequence of activities and messages that aim to achieve a specific goal, such as promoting a product, raising awareness, or engaging with an audience.

All campaign types

Field Description

Name

Name of the campaign. For example, Christmas Sale.

Type

One of the following:

  • Onsite - Select this type of campaign if you want to reach your customers through your website.

  • Landing Page - Select this type of campaign if you just want to have campaign elements in the landing page of your site.

  • A/B Test - Select this type of campaign to test customer reaction to different options.

  • Offsite - Select this type of campaign if you want to reach your customers through communication channels like email or phone outside your website.

If Type = Offsite, one of the following:

  • Outbound email - Select this type of campaign if you want to reach your customers through email.

  • Outbound SMS - Select this type of campaign if you want to reach your customers through SMS.

  • SMS with Callback Select this type of campaign if you want to reach your customers through SMS with links that allow customers to get back to you.

  • Outbound voice - Select this type of campaign if you want to reach your customers through voice calls.

  • Callcenter Outbound - Select this type of campaign if you want to reach your customers through voice, SMS, email, or social media.

Channel

Channel used to contact your customers. For example, email or social media.

If you select default, uses the active channel.

Contact list

If Type is one of the following:

  • Onsite

  • Landing Page

  • Offsite

Select the contact list to use in the campaign.

Landing Page

Field Description

Unique label

If Type = Landing Page. Unique identifier of the landing page.

By default, Engagement Studio creates the unique identifier.

CoreMedia strongly recommends that you do not change the generated label.

Placeholder

If Type = Landing Page.

Name of the placeholder that will contain the will contain elements that will interact with customer.

A/B Test

A/B Test type

If Type = A/B Test. One of the following:

  • Onsite Campaign

Control Campaign

If Type = A/B Test. Select the campaign used as a baseline for result comparison and control.

Disable inline campaigns in control campaign

If Type = A/B Test. One of the following:

  • No - Enables inline campaigns.

  • Yes - Disables inline campaings.

Start date

If Type = A/B Test. Date to start the campaign.

Campaign Offsite

Field Description

Skill

If Type = Offsite. Skill required to operate the campaign.

Outbound email

Field Description

From - Name

If Type = Offsite and Outbound email. Enter the name of the sender of the emails in the campaign.

From - Email

If Type = Offsite and Outbound email. Enter the CoreMedia email of the sender of the emails in the campaign.

Email template

If Type = Offsite and Outbound email. Select the template for the email or leave it to '- No template -' to define it in the next step.

Version editor

If Type = Offsite and Outbound email. One of the following:

  • HTML editor (old) - Uses an HTML editor.

  • Visual Editor (new) - Uses a WYSIWYG editor.

Outbound SMS or SMS with Callback

Field Description

From

If Type = Offsite and Outbound SMS or SMS with Callback. Enter the name of the CoreMedia author that is the sender of the SMS in the campaign.

Template

If Type = Offsite and Outbound SMS or SMS with Callback. Select the template for the email.

Message

If Type = Offsite and Outbound SMS or SMS with Callback. Compose the message to send to the customers. You can include placeholders and Engagement Studio fills the placeholder with information from the contact list. For example, include placeholder [] to include the name of the contact.

Unicode

If Type = Offsite and Outbound SMS or SMS with Callback. Check unicode to write the message in unicode. You must write in unicode if you’re using special characters like ç and ã.

Messages in unicode are only 60 characters long.

Outbound voice or Callcenter Outbound

Field Description

Anonymous call

If Type = Offsite and Outbound voice or Callcenter Outbound. One of the following:

  • Yes - Outbound calls will not show caller id.

  • No - Outbound call will show caller id.
