Description of the settings of a survey.

Edit Survey

Field Description

English/German

Select the language for the localized fields (fields with flag symbol).

Name

The name of the survey. Automatically filled when you create the survey.

Active

Yes or No. Select if the survey should be activated.

Title

Title of the survey that appears to customers on top of the survey. For example, Your opinion matters. You can add variables from the contact list by selecting the magic wand icon.

Header

Text that appears before the survey questions. For example, Give us your email and we will contact you to collect your opinion about the documentation site.. You can add variables from the contact list by selecting the magic wand icon and HTML content.

Footer

Text that appears at the bottom of the survey. For example, Thank you for your time!. You can add variables from the contact list by selecting the magic wand icon and HTML content.

End message

Message that appears when the customer completes the survey. For example, Thank you for your participation.. You can add variables from the contact list by selecting the magic wand icon and HTML content.

Send by email

Yes or No. Select if you want to send the survey results by email to the email address configured. If Yes, fill the following field:

  • Email - Email address to send the survey results to.

  • Subject - Subject of the email with the survey results.

Show confirmation step

Yes or No. Select if you want to show a confirmation step before submitting the survey. If Yes , fill the following field:

  • Confirmation step title - Title of the confirmation step. For example, Please confirm your answers.

Limit answers by visitor

Yes or No. Select if you want to limit the number of answers per visitor. If Yes, add the maximum number of answers per visitor in the appearing field.

Show button answer later

Yes or No. Select if you want to show a button that allows customers to answer the survey later. If Yes, fill the following field:

  • End message - The message that appears when the customer clicks the button to answer later. For example, You can answer the survey later by clicking the link we have sent to your email..

Show button never answer

Yes or No. Select if you want to show a button that allows customers to never answer the survey. If Yes, fill the following field:

Date fields format:

Format of the date fields in the survey. Possible values are:

  • YYYY-MM-DD

  • YYYY/MM/DD

  • DD-MM-YYYY

  • DD/MM/YYYY

  • MM-DD-YYYY

  • MM/DD/YYYY

Trigger event:

Event triggered when the customer completes the survey. For example, surveyCompleted. The available events are defined in _Settings/TAGs and names/Events management.

Contact list

Select the contact list to use in the survey.
