The existing feature of disabling updates for a derived content item in a Synchronization site is now also available for Translation sites.

The existing checkbox in the Localization tab has thus been changed from “Keep synchronized with Master” to “Disable updates from master”. Note that the logic of the checkbox has been inverted, and the checked state now means that updates are disabled for this content.

You can also search for content items in Translation sites that have their updates disabled with the new “Updates Disabled” checkbox in the Translation filter in the Library.

Upgrade Information

To respect this state also for Translation sites, the Translation workflow has been adjusted, which means that you have to upload the updated translation.xml again.

Be aware that when there are content items in a Translation site that already have this setting (e.g., by having copied a content item from a Synchronization site) this setting will then get effective. You may want to validate, for example, via Library filter if there are any false-positive content items in your Translation sites.
