Breadcrumbs

Import contacts from a CSV file to a contact list. The CSV file must have all the required fields and can have optional fields. For more information about the required and optional fields, see Edit Contact.

Field Description

Import file

CSV file containing the contacts to be imported. The file must have all the required fields and can have optional fields.

Codificação (Encoding)

The character encoding of the CSV file. The default value is UTF-8.

When existing phone/email/external id is found

Defines the action to take when a contact with the same phone number, email address, or external ID is found in the contact list.

Possible values:

Update existing information: Update the existing contact with the information from the CSV file.
Ignore: Skip the contact and do not import it.
Create new contact: Create a new contact with the information from the CSV file, even if a contact with the same phone number, email address, or external ID already exists.

CSV Separator

The character used to separate values in the CSV file.

Possible values:

Automatic
; (semicolon)
, (comma)
\t (tab)
| (pipe)
: (colon)

Show preview

Show a preview of the contacts to be imported before confirming the import.
