Creating a Contact List
Create a contact list in Engagement Cloud.
Prerequisites

Ensure the user has:

Permissions to use the Engagement Studio.

Group Manager role.

Sign in to Engagement Studio.
TIP: Open the Engagement Studio while following this how-to guide.
Steps
1. Open Contact Lists

Select Engagement in the left sidebar of Engagement Studio.

Select Contact Lists.

Engagement Studio displays a table with the existing contact lists.
2. Create a new Contact List

Click ➕ Add in the top right corner of the Contact lists panel to open the Add contact list window.

Fill the contact list information in the Add contact list window:

Name: Enter a name for the new contact list. For example,
Parents. -
Channel: Select the channel. For example,
Default. -
Skill: Select the skill that should handle the contact list. For example,
Globalto allow all skills to handle the contacts from the contact list.

(Optional) Define custom parameters for the contact list: - Param: Select the parameter to customize. For example,
param1. - Name: Give the parameter a name. For example,owned_car. - Title: Screen label of the parameter. For example,Owned Car. - Interpret as: Choose the parameter type. For example,Text. -
Click Accept at the bottom right corner of the Add contact list window.
Result
The Engagement Cloud creates a new contact list and shows it in the Contact lists panel. Click the new contact list to edit the contact list.
