Tab: Properties

Field Description

LEAD TYPE NAME

Name of the lead type.

LEAD CREATION

Defines how leads of this type are created. Select one or both:

Contacts: A lead is created when a contact matches a configured rule.
Events: A lead is created when a selected event occurs. Choose one or more events from the dropdown list. Available events depend on your account configuration and include items such as addToShoppingCart, checkout, GoogleLeadGen, PurchaseFunnelStep, viewProduct, and others.

LEAD CLOSURE

Defines when leads of this type close. Select one or both:

Period: The lead closes after a defined period of inactivity.
Events: The lead closes when a selected business event occurs (for example, checkout). When closed by an event, the lead is marked as Lead Closed and Converted.

PERIOD

Number of hours or days without activity after which the lead closes automatically.

PERIOD TYPE

Unit for the lead period. One of the following:

Hours: The lead closes after the number of hours defined in the PERIOD field.
Days: The lead closes after the number of days defined in the PERIOD field.

INTERACTION DATE

Interaction used to calculate the lead period. One of the following:

First: Uses the first interaction as reference.
Last: Uses the last interaction as reference.

Field Description

Type

Type of association. One of the following:

Skills: Skills previously associated to the lead type (V1 configuration, read-only).
Channels: Channels associated to the lead type.

Description

Name of the association. For example, Chat - EN - UK.

Default

Indicates if the lead type association is the default one. One of the following:

Yes: The association is the default one.
No: The association is not the default one.

From V2.0 onwards, lead type association is configured exclusively in the Rules tab of the Lead Management App. The Associations tab displays existing associations for reference.
