Viewing Workflow Results
View the results of a workflow in Engagement Cloud.
Prerequisites
Before you start:

Have a workflow created and activated in Engagement Cloud.

Steps
1. Use the registration form

Open an incognito window in your browser.
Because the example workflow has typeVisitor, you need to use an incognito window so that Engagement Cloud can create a new visitor id. If you use a normal window, the Engagement Cloud retains the same visitor id and won’t trigger the workflow again. -
Open the URL with your registration form. For example,
https://www.yourdomain.com/registration-form. -
Enter the information in the registration form. For example, enter
Peter Rabbitin the name field andpeter.rabbit@mail.comin the email field. -
Click Submit
When you click Submit, the survey triggers theName and Email for the Workflowevent. -
Close the incognito window.

2. Check the workflow editor

Open the workflow editor in the Engagement Studio.

Select
Node entrancesin the Stats type dropdown in the top left corner of the workflow editor. -
Wait a few seconds until the workflow processes the event and updates the statistics.
After processing the event, theAdd and Remove from Listelement shows6in the top right corner of the element, indicating that one visitor has passed through this element.
3. Check the contact list

Select Engagement in the left sidebar.

Select Contact Lists.

Open the contact list with name
Visitor Name and Email (Workflows). -
Verify that the contact list contains the visitor information from the registration form. For example, verify that the contact list contains a contact with name
Peter Rabbitand emailpeter.rabbit@mail.com.
