The npm repository switched to repository.coremedia.com/nexus/repository/coremedia-npm (see documentation).

The former repository npm.coremedia.io is also still available but might be removed in the future.

Pendo plugin no longer bundled by default

The Pendo-based tracking functionality and in-app guides are no longer shipped as a bundled Blueprint plugin and are no longer installed by default during deployment. From CMCC 13 onwards, the Pendo plugin is deprecated.

Character Counter for TextFields

The components for textfields and textareas (StatefulTextField and StatefulTextArea) may now show the length of the input text if a maximum length for the field is set. This feature has to be enabled for each field manually by setting the showCharacterCounter property. The maximum length can be set via the characterLimit property.

You can also set those properties on any StringPropertyField directly. This way, the Length attribute of the corresponding StringProperty, set in blueprint-doctypes.xml, will automatically be taken into account to define a default for the characterLimit property. E.g. The article title field will automatically have a maximum length of 512 characters.

Please note, that the character counter will only show if the field is focused.
