Activating a Workflow

Activate a workflow to start using it in Engagement Cloud.

Prerequisites

Before you start:

Have a user with:
- Permissions to use the Engagement Studio.
- Group Supervisor or Manager.
Have the user logged in to the Engagement Studio.
Have created a workflow and added elements to it.

TIP: Open the Engagement Studio while following this how to guide.

Steps

Open a workflow in the Workflow list of the Enagagement page. For example, open the workflow with name Registration.
Click Activate in the top right corner of the workflow editor.
Click Accept to confirm the activation of the workflow.

ATTENTION: After activating a workflow, the workflow will start processing the elements and you cannot add new elements nor define new paths.

You can edit existing elements and make small changes. For example, you can change the event mapped in a Webcare Event element or the contact list in an Add or Remove from List element.
