Recommended for New Installations
For new installations, it is recommended to use the SQL persistence layer instead of MongoDB.
For customers upgrading from previous versions prior to CMCC 2412.0 it is recommended to stick to the previously used persistence layer. This is because up to now there is no option to migrate data from MongoDB to SQL. This will change in future versions.
Features Requiring MongoDB
There is no SQL replacement for the persistence layers of the extensions Elastic Social and Analytics Connectors. MongoDB is required for that.
For a system to run without MongoDB, the extensions must be removed from Blueprint as described in these sections:
