Accompanying the new Workflow app, there is a new API to add custom workflows. The former API was targeted specifically at the Control Room in the main Studio.The new API can be used to customize both the main Studio and the Workflow App.

Note that the old API is still in place. As workflows continue to be started in the Control Room, the old API can still be used to customize the start-workflow windows.

The new API is designed to be more declarative and independent from ExtJs. For more details, consult the chapter "Cusomizing Workflow UI" in the Studio Developer Manual.
