Each site can define its own playbooks tailored to its editors, brand, or locale. Create a Settings document at the following path inside the site's content tree:

<site-root>/Options/Settings/Playbooks

For example:

/Sites/Chef Corp./Canada/English/Options/Settings/Playbooks

Site-level playbooks override global playbooks.

If the preferred site is derived from a master site, the master site's playbooks are loaded first and are then overridden by any playbook with the same id from the preferred site. The master-site path follows the same convention:

<master-site-root>/Options/Settings/Playbooks

For example:

/Sites/Chef Corp./United States/English/Options/Settings/Playbooks

If the preferred site is not derived from a master site, only the preferred site's playbooks are considered at this layer.
